One might think that Deepika Padukone has got it all. From the perfect body to the perfect boyfriend to the perfect Hollywood debut, but in her latest interview she revealed what she regrets not having done most in Bollywood.
While talking to Filmfare she said, “I wish I had worked with Yash Chopra. He was very fond of me and I was of him.”
That being her only unfulfilled wish, she revealed that some people she has met in the entertainment industry are genuine. “The industry has been a place where I’ve met some warm and genuine people,” said the actor.
Of course, questions about her current boyfriend and her ex will never exhaust, so when asked what she’d do if she were stuck in an elevator with Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, she said she’d have a dance-off between the two stars. However, crowning one would be difficult since ‘they’re both superb dancers,’ in her opinion.
When asked about being stuck in an elevator with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma she said. “Play house-house, cook up an amazing dinner and call friends over.”
One thing’s for sure, though, Deepika’s stance on infidelity remains staunch. In the interview when asked about her view on the matter, she said, “I’ve always had only one take on it. It’s unacceptable.”
However, she is a firm believer in happy endings. “Yes I do [believe in fairy tales and happy endings],” she added. And she may have regrets in life like we mortals do, but “I think if I choose to be happy, I’ll be happy,” said the star.
