The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has lifted the ban on allotment of plots which was in place since the last several months.

A committee under Estate and Land Deputy DG Islam Shah has been constituted to ensure transparency in the allotment process.  The other members of the committee are deputy director land, deputy director IT and assistant director land.

The committee will scrutinise the allotment cases and will give clearance chit and allocate the plots.  These members of committee will be authorised to handle new cases and in regard to old cases, two additional members will be taken in the committee as well. The old cases pertaining to sectors about which it is complained that these are not in the possession of CDA, have already been allotted.

A notification about the constitution of the committee has been issued.
