A major terror bid was foiled on Tuesday as the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a suspected terrorist and recovered a bomb from his possession near Radio Pakistan Peshawar.
According to police, alleged terrorist Rehmanuddin, a member of banned organisation Jamaatul Ahrar from Upper Dir, was arrested near Radio Pakistan building on Bacha Khan Road. A bomb weighing two kilogrammes was also seized from his possession.
According to police, preliminary investigation revealed that Rehmanuddin was trained for a suicide attack.
