Rainfall to hit upper parts of Punjab, KP today

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted rainfall in Upper parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) while weather in most of the parts in country will remain dry hot and humid, reported Tuesday.

Rainfall is also expected at isolated places in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan today.

Lowest temperature in Rawalpindi and Islamabad will remain 25°C while it can go as high as 35°C.

According to the meteorological department, rainfall is expected in parts of Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Gujranwala, Lahore Division, upper FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir in coming 24 hours.

Heaviest rainfall yesterday was recorded in Malam Jabba, 71mm, while highest temperature was in Bhakkar, Naukandi, Turbat, Dadu and Sukkur with 41°C.
