Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan made a farewell call on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Sharif appreciated the outgoing AJK president for amicably conducting state’s affairs during his term in office. The continuity of electoral process has strengthened the democratic system in AJK, he said.
“The prime minister reiterated his government’s firm resolve to extend its fullest moral, diplomatic and political support to the indigenous freedom struggle of Kashmiri people. The world needs to take stock of the latest brutalities against unarmed innocent Kashmiri people who are heavily sacrificing for attainment of their inalienable right to freedom,” expressed the prime minister.
