Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the government is committed to protecting minorities’ rights as they enjoy equal rights as the citizens of Pakistan.
Talking to PML-N Sindh chapter leader Dr Sham Sundar Advani, he appreciated the sacrifices and effective role played by minorities for the national cause and progress. He reiterated that protection of their rights is government’s priority.
Dr Sundar said Sindh minorities deeply appreciate prime minister’s agenda of development and steps to protect their rights.
During the meeting, political situation and organisational issues of the party were also discussed. Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Dr Asif Kirmani was also present at the meeting.
