Nephew of ex-Senate Chairman gunned down in armed clash

A nephew of former Senate Chairman Mian Muhammad Soomro Monday (today) was killed in an armed clash between two groups in Islamabad.

Malik Fahad is said to have been shot dead in the clash that took place in Sector F10-3 area of the federal capital between Malik Tariq and Raja Arshad groups.

The clash took Soomro’s nephew Malik Fahad’s life and left three injured when the other party opened fire at their vehicle.

One wounded man was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in a critical state.

Another clash occurred in the hospital premises before police arrived at the spot.

The police said the motive of the fight was yet to be known.
