The Wagah Border in Lahore echoed with voices of Allah-o-Akbar and slogans of Pakistan Zindabad while a large number of people attended the flag-lowering ceremony on Independence Day.
An active contingent of Pakistan Rangers presented the parade with zeal and fervour telling the enemy that they are ready to offer every sacrifice to defend the country.
National songs were played and Pakistan flags were hoisted on the occasion. The crowd was charged and was encouraging the soldiers with enthusiasm.
