A photographer is enjoying a fabulous Italian honeymoon, but there’s just one very import thing missing – his wife.
Faizan Patel and his new wife Sana got married back in December, and Sana had planned a two-week trip to Italy.
But just two days before they were supposed to leave, she experienced a moment that could make any world traveler panic: she realized she’d lost her passport.
Reluctantly, the Photographer was forced to take the trip to Greece and Italy alone.
And, after they were told they could not get a refund, the newlyweds decided Faizan should go without Sana.
To cheer the two up, Faizan then posted funny pictures online of himself with a photograph of his wife’s head as he travelled on planes and trains during the trip.
He admitted he missed his wife despite the posts and told : “This trip was entirely planned by her. I wish to see her next to me soon.”
Incredibly, one of his photographs was spotted by India ‘s minister of external affairs Sushma Swaraj who arranged for a duplicate passport to be issued.
Sadly, Sana may still miss the trip to Italy because she is now waiting for a visa to be issued.
The pair were married in December and took a ‘mini-moon’ in India but their trip to Italy was meant to be the ‘proper’ honeymoon.
last month, newlywed Huma Mobin took photographs when her husband was denied a visa to Greece.
Photographs taken by the bride showed her in an array of stunning Greek locations with her arm around her ‘invisible’ husband as she pouted sadly.
Huma, from Lahore, Pakistan, had planned to visit Greece with her spouse, Arsalaan Sever Butt, for their second honeymoon.
