In yet another development in the cloak-and-dagger war between the intelligence agencies of India and Pakistan, a student from Lahore has claimed to the national media in general and his parents in particular that he failed his physics paper of FSc Part 2 as a result of RAW activities.

Muhammad Ishaq, a student of Punjab College of Science, told his parents at a press conference that his failure was not to be attributed to his own preparation but the designs of the infamous Research and Analysis Wing, Government of India.

“There is no doubt about it,” Ishaq said, and added, “My preparation was top-notch. Electronics, magnetism, and basic circuits. But, due to a series of machinations by [Secretary Research] Rajinder Khanna and his crew, I was unable to even clear the exam, what to speak of the 90 per cent plus score that all knew I was going to get.”

When asked by reporters how, exactly, did RAW manage to make him flunk the exam, Ishaq replied, “I think there are a lot of black sheep in the Pakistani news media who are agents of RAW. Such questions are very suspicious. I urge our own intelligence agencies to trail these so-called journalists.”

When the same question was repeated by his parents, Ishaq broke down, crying.
