Eight terrorists held with arms in Sargodha, Chakwal

The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel arrested six suspected terrorists in Sargoda along with arms during search operations on Friday.

The police and other LEAs personnel conducted joint search operations in different localities of Sargodha including Tariqabad, Lak Colony and Zahoor Colony.

During separate actions, the LEAs arrested six suspected terrorists and recovered weapons from their possession.

The nabbed suspected terrorists were shifted to an undisclosed location for investigation.

Meanwhile in Chakwal, the police arrested two terrorists and recovered arms from a vehicle during snap checking on Friday.

Responding to an intelligence tip-off, a team of Chakwal Saddar police headed by SHO Zarrat Baloch erected a picket near Balkasar Interchange and started checking of vehicles.

During search of a suspected vehicle, the police arrested to terrorists identified as Hassan Gul, hailing from Peshawar and Husnain Badshah, hailing from Kohat.

The police recovered a rifle, one revolver, four 30 bore pistols and 480 rounds from the possession of the nabbed terrorists who were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
