Ahsan Iqbal calls for reviving spirit of Pakistan Movement to achieve economic development

Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal has emphasised for reviving the spirit of Pakistan Movement to carry forward the country on the path of economic development.

He was addressing a seminar in connection with Independence Day celebrations organised by Radio Pakistan at National Broadcasting House in Islamabad on Friday.

Referring to the challenges faced by the country about three years ago, planning minister said the situation has improved to a great extent on the economic and security fronts.

Highlighting the geostrategic significance of Pakistan, Iqbal said the country can play the role of a bridge between the regional countries.

He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a gift for Pakistan which will attract more foreign investment. He once again assured that the multi-billion dollar project will serve all the federating units of the country.
