The anti-corruption court on Friday sent Adil Anwar, the accused arrested in inter-board corruption case by anti-corruption personnel, on 14-day judicial remand to jail while Deputy Controller Examinations Dabeerul Hassan fled the country.
The court ordered submission of challan within 14 days. Meanwhile, action by the anti-corruption continuing for three days at the inter-board has been completed.
About the raid of anti-corruption, the workers of the inter-board blamed delayed results due to malfunctioning of the server of the IT department. It may be mentioned here that future of thousands of students has been put at stake due to late results by the inter board because the last date for admission in NED University is August 14.
It is pertinent to add that the anti-corruption had conducted the raid after publishing of a news of tempering with results at the inter board Karachi. Meanwhile, the Sindh government directed the inter board Karachi to issue the results immediately but ordered to withhold 94 ‘tempered results’.
