The Shalimar Police Station in the federal capital on Wednesday registered a case against an alleged shemale and her two male accomplices and took them into custody for attempting to rob a citizen outside the ATM of a private bank in a busy commercial area.
According to details and footage of the bank’s CCTV camera, a shemale identified as Shehryar alias Sehrish held a man hostage on gunpoint while he was withdrawing cash at the ATM in the busy F-10 Markaz area. When the man resisted, the shemale robber took off her top and threatened him that she would trap him in a rape case unless he handed over Rs 50,000 to her.
The footage then showed the man struggling his way out of the ATM cabin but the naked shemale followed him outside and started throwing stones at him and his Mercedes car.
At one point in the video, a beggar can be seen offering the shemale something to cover herself with but it isn’t welcomed.
Meanwhile, a man approaches the bewildered citizen and offers to park his car at a safe distance. The victim hands over the keys of the Mercedes to the unidentified person who is then seen speeding away from the scene in full view of several bystanders. As soon as the man sped away from the scene, the suspected shemale robber hailed a taxi and fled in the opposite direction, leaving the victim in a daze.
Police were later able to arrest the shemale robber and her accomplices and also recover the victim’s Mercedes from a nearby locality.
