Sindh govt tightens shrines’ security

Special Assistant for Religious Affairs and Auqaf Pir Ghulam Shah Jeelani on Wednesday said that the Sindh government was tightening security of shrines after the Quetta tragedy and metal detectors were being installed at the entrance of these shrines in Sindh.

He shared these views with journalists at Thatta Press Club. He said Thatta was the old district of Sindh and it had its own history. He added that Sindh was the land of Sufis and they would take initiatives for highlighting its history.
