Law enforcement agencies arrested at least 98 suspected in a crackdown against criminal elements continues in Karachi.
Rangers carried out an operation on a tip-off in PIB Ghosia Colony and arrested four suspects during a search of a residential building.
On the other hand, police conducted a search operation in Hazara Colony and apprehended at least 50 suspects. Police also launched a combing operation in Teesar Town and arrested 44 suspects.
Police also carried out a search operation at Khuda Ki Basti in Surjani Town and nabbed 42 suspects in raids.
A large contingent of West Zone Police and Reserve Police personnel took part in the operation, SP Orangi Town Ali Asif said.
The para-military troops also carried out a targeted operation in Nazimabad and arrested another four suspects.
The raids are being carried out on the information given by the arrested persons, law enforcement sources said.
