Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal has said that the Afghan government has imposed no ban or restrictions on holding of Pakistani currency and it is freely convertible like other currencies.
The Afghan ambassador said this during a telephonic conversation with Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar. During the conversation, they discussed the reported ban on the holding of Pakistani currency in Afghanistan.
The Afghan ambassador told the minister that the news reported in the media was baseless.
