- PkMAP leader holds intelligence agencies and law enforcement departments responsible for negligence in preventing Quetta suicide bombing
- JUI-F’s Fazlur Rehman also holds security agencies responsible for failing to thwart RAW’s terrorism in Pakistan
Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai has again stirred up controversy – this time by disputing with reports about the involvement of Indian intelligence agency RAW in Monday’s Quetta blast.
Taking part in the National Assembly debate on Monday’s blast in Quetta, Achakzai said that country’s intelligence agencies could trace a needle from murky water, how could they have missed extremists.
The PkMAP’s leader held intelligence agencies and law enforcement departments responsible for the negligence, adding that Indian agencies are not the only ones to be blamed.
“Our intelligence agencies failed to nab terrorists,” Achakzai said, refusing to offer Fateha in parliament for the departed souls of the Quetta massacre.
He demanded from the prime minister to sack officers of the security and intelligence agencies if they failed to trace out the elements involved in the deadly attack.
“Nawaz Sharif should sack the concerned officers of the intelligence and security agencies if they are unable to trace-out the executors and masterminds of the attack in Quetta within a specified time,” he stated.
“Nawaz Sharif is chief executive of the country. He must order the security and intelligence agencies to hold an enquiry into the Quetta attack,” said Achakzai, adding that intelligence agencies are busy in getting information about the activities of politicians while terrorists are free to move anywhere.
“Job of the intelligence agencies is to keep an eye on the enemy instead of politicians,” Achakzai said.
MAULANA FAZL FOLLOWS SUIT:
Meanwhile, taking cue from Achakzai, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman also held the country’s intelligence agencies responsible for the Quetta carnage, stressing that the country’s security apparatus was duty-bound to ward off the incursions of RAW.
“It is evident that our agencies are supposed to fend off the headway of the central spy agency of India. However, we free ourselves from all burden of responsibility by putting the blame of terrorism on RAW,” he said in a statement.
Far more enemies of state sitting with in the parliament than outside the country
Afghanistan is pakistans backyard.
While the voice of kick backs resonated from the mouths of an abnoxious bald cranium, augmented and amplified throuh the mouth of a garden knome with a breard dripping with disiel, cunning foxes in the house of parliament listened with uncanny treacherous silence.
At least there is some voice of reason and logical thinking, without compromising on basic common sense, within Pakistan
