“Corruption is the biggest issue in Pakistan and a great movement has been launched so that the corrupt rulers should be taken to task,” Khan said while speaking to PTI workers in Khairabad.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf workers turned out for the first day of the party’s Ehtesab rally on Sunday, which sets out from Peshawar city to Attock along the Grand Trunk Road.
The streets in Peshawar were almost packed with PTI well-wishers and supporters who reached the varying cities including Dir, Kohat, Malakand, Karak and Bannu.
On the other hand in reply to PTI’s Ehtesab rally, the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz also did a rally in Peshawar.
Political bashing remained at its peak during PML-N gathering in which party leaders criticised Imran Khan and his party for adopting policies that were against the country.
