Islamabad Electricity Supply Company (IESCO) has launched a project for generation of electricity through a solar meter.
The project will cost Rs 300,000 and it will generate three kilowatt electricity daily. Under this project, the citizens will be able to sell electricity to IESCO.
Air Commodore Muhammad Rashid Ramay, a resident of Fizaya Colony, had sought the permission from IESCO through an application to generate electricity through a solar meter.
IESCO will provide concession in electricity bills of the citizens against the generation and consumption of electricity through the solar meter.
