Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) plans to turn Sales Tax in Electronic System to make it more active and advanced.
By this, they aim to help achieve revenue target of 3621 billion rupees set for the current financial year.
FBR Chairman Nisar Muhammad stated that important changes are being made in the sales tax system and scrutiny of invoices will be carried out through an electronic system.

The International Monetary Fund has appreciated the Board for surpassing the revenue target of the last financial year. He said 3114 billion rupees revenue was collected during the last fiscal year which is all time high.
Will do anything and everything except extending tax-net, control on flight of foreign currency out of the country or bringing back billions of Dollars of Paksitanis – all black money – back to Paksitan.
