At least 15 shops were burnt along with belongings worth millions of rupees on Sunday when fire engulfed a plaza located on MA Jinnah Road.
Fire erupted in a shopping mall plaza which engulfed various shops within few minutes.
The fire fighters, fire tenders and water-cannons were rushed to the scene, however, rescue operation is underway to control the situation and put off the fire. No loss of life or injury has been reported till filing of this report. According to initial report, fire erupted due to short circuit.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah directed to extinguish the fire as soon as possible and sought report from the concerned department.
