A robber was shot dead and another injured during a police encounter in the metropolis on Friday.
According to police sources, an encounter took place in North Nazimabad area when armed robbers opened fire at police during a robbery attempt. During exchange of fire, one of the robbers was killed while his accomplice was arrested in wounded condition.
