Obama says Putin can’t be trusted on Syria

US President Barack Obama stated that he was “not confident” that Russia and President Vladimir Putin could be trusted as partners in trying to end Syria’s bloody civil war.

Talking to the media, he said: “I’m not confident that we can trust the Russians and Vladimir Putin.”

Referring to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Obama added,  “We go into this without any blinders on. We’re very clear that Russia has been willing to support a murderous regime, and an individual.”

  1. he is correct…russia is supporting Assad in Syria who has killed 300.000 of his own people and destroyed his country just to stay in power?…they cannot be trusted to do what is best for the people…
