At least five villages submerged by water after a 70-foot wide breach appeared in Korai Canal on Wednesday.
The water also inundated hundreds of acres of agricultural land near Goth Bhailar and now advancing towards the National Highway. According to details, local residents volunteered to fill the breach by themselves. The DC Sukkur also reached the spot and asked the local administration to start rescue operation.
