A terrorist of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was killed while his two accomplices were taken into custody with huge cache of arms after an encounter on Tuesday. A policeman was also martyred and two others injured in the clash.
According to details, the police conducted operation against the outlaws in Bairgali locality of Gadoon, Swabi District during which the extremists taking shelter in the area opened fire at the police, killing an official and injuring two others.
In retaliatory action of the police, a terrorist stated to be belonging to banned TTP was killed while his two cohorts were arrested with huge cache of arms and explosives.
The bodies and injured were moved to hospital and the nabbed terrorists were taken to undisclosed location for interrogation.
