West Indies’ World T20 superhero Carlos Brathwaite has consented to feature in Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) second edition, tournament chairman Najam Sethi told a private TV channel on Monday.

Brathwaite rose to fame when he hit four consecutive sixes in the last over as the West Indies stunned England to lift the 2016 World T20 title in India.

Sethi said that Brathwaite is willing to feature in PSL’s second edition, adding that quite a few more of the “top guys” would be expected to sign up upon culmination of Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Following the huge success of the inaugural edition of PSL in February this year, Sethi was confident about doing even better in its second edition in 2017, which he said will be a substantially improved one in terms of international signings and profits. In an earlier interview, Sethi said Pakistan cricket fans have every reason to be excited about PSL2 which may well see its final getting played in Lahore, hopefully in March next year.
