Naval Chief Admiral Zakaullah Tuesday (today) briefed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about the defence capabilities of Pakistan Navy.
The Naval chief said that the Pakistan Navy is well equipped to defend vital maritime infrastructure and can protect the country against all threats.
The prime minister said that defence capabilities of the Pakistan Navy are of paramount importance with regard to country’s defence.
The prime minister appreciated the role of Pak Navy in defending the maritime borders of the country.
He said the government would take all possible steps to make the Pak Navy a modern potent force to contribute effectively to deterrence and national security across the full conflict spectrum.
