Man kills sister for ‘honour’ in Shikarpur

A man allegedly killed his younger sister for ‘honour’ in Mohammad Saleh Jaffery village within the limits of Naperkot police station near Khanpur town of Shikarpur district.

Abdul Razzak Khoso reportedly shot dead Amna on Monday night after suspecting her of having illicit relations. The brother accused his sister of ‘kari’.

The body of the murdered girl was brought to Khanpur District Hospital for postmortem and was later handed over to the victim’s mother.

Hospital sources confirmed that the girl received several bullet wounds after being shot by a pistol at close range.

“My daughter has been subject to barbarism,” the elderly mother told local journalists.

The victim’s mother said her son killed her daughter after falsely accusing her of ‘kari’. She demanded exemplary punishment for her son.

“Raids are being conducted to arrest the accused, who is currently at large,” the SHO said.
