Air Chief Sohail Aman called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday and apprised him on the professional matters and operational preparedness of the air force.
In his remarks, the prime minister appreciated the role of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in safeguarding Pakistan’s air frontiers. The contribution of PAF in destroying the hideouts and safe havens of terrorists in the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb is indeed commendable, the prime minister said.
He said our air force has invariably responded to threats to our national security that has been admired by the world. He said the competence of PAF is unmatched.
It is encouraging that PAF’s traditional role has assumed new dimensions according to the changing times and advancements in technology, he added.
