Rangers and police carried out search operations in different areas of the city on Monday night and arrested 19 suspects.
According to details, Rangers conducted a search operation on a tip-off in Al-Karam Square area of Liaquatabad on Monday night and apprehended four suspects.
A heavy contingent of Rangers cordoned off the residential building and recovered a large quantity of arms during search of different compounds. Rangers personnel also carried out house-to-house search during which four suspects were taken into custody. The arrested persons were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
Meanwhile, police carried out search operation around Taj Complex in Saddar area on Monday night and apprehended 15 suspects.
The arrested persons were shifted to police station for further investigation. On the other hand, two kids were injured when a speeding car hit them in Nazimabad area. The residents of the area caught the driver of the car and handed him over to police after subjecting him to severe torture.
