Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) AD Khawaja praised the performance of Punjab police with the adoption of Information Technology (IT).
He was presiding over a meeting at the central police office on Monday.
The meeting was also attended by a two-member delegation of the Punjab Police IT Board.
He directed that recommendations be forwarded for adoption of IT arrangements for the Sindh police on the pattern of Punjab police in this respect.
Khawaja welcomed the delegation from Punjab and thanked the Punjab IGP for sharing knowledge pertaining to the IT.
The visiting delegation apprised of usage of IT in the police stations in Punjab and the resultant improvements in its wake.
It was further pointed out that the service record of the Punjab police has been computerised and the process is continuing for preserving central database of the police officers.
