A business centre caught fire in Bolton Market area of the city on Monday.
An old market named Lakshmi Building caught fire in Bolton Market area. No injuries were reported in the incident however, goods worth of millions of rupees turned into ashes. Fire tenders and rescue teams reached the scene immediately and started their rescue operations.
Fire tenders faced difficulties during rescue operation due to narrow streets but seven fire tenders finally controlled the fire after a long struggle.
According to initial report, the reason of the fire is stated to be electricity short-circuit in a shop at second floor of the building.
