Newly elected Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has reduced his security protocol to four police mobiles, his spokesman said on Monday.
Former Sindh CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah had 9 police mobiles in his protocol.
The new CM surprised officials in the Sindh cabinet with his apparent dedication to his job. The officials claimed that he reaches his office at the CM House sharp at 9am.
On visiting the Sindh Secretariat, Murad took notice of the late arrival of the staff and said that the ministers, adviser and staff should be punctual.
His punctuality has also forced other ministers in the cabinet to take charge and look active.
Health Minister Dr Sikander Mandhro visited Civil Hospital on Monday and asked the director of a trauma centre as to why the project has been left unfinished.
“The complete payment has been made. Why hasn’t the project been completed,” the minister inquired.
He directed for early completion of the trauma centre and warned that action would be taken if the project was not completed on time.
Meanwhile, Education Minister Jam Mehtab Dahar in a statement said that his foremost priority will be to reopen all the schools that have been left unattended. He added that the staff at school should be punctual.
The Sindh CM took notice of 92 news reports regarding poor condition of the national flag after which the flag was immediately changed.
Furthermore, the chief minister called on Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and Special Branch Additional IG Sanaullah Abbasi for a briefing.
