Islamabad Bar Association President Advocate Syed Muhammad Tayyab said that the genocide of Kashmiris at the hands of the Indian Army is more than crimes of war.
In a statement issued on Sunday, he said that the Indian occupation over Kashmir Valley is unjust, unfair, immoral and illegal.
The Indian Army is writing a bloody and shameful history of atrocities in occupied Kashmir but this black night of brutalities will be over soon, Tayyab added.
The Kashmiris are striving for their fundamental right to self-determination for seven decades but India is depriving them of their right.
The latest wave of brutalities of Indian forces in the valley is a slap on the face of so-called champions of international peace, the IBA president said.
The international rights organisations have failed to safeguard and protect the lives and properties of the Kashmiris and they should apologise from the Kashmiri people, he added.
