The newly-elected Sindh chief minister (CM), Syed Murad Ali Shah, visited the mausoleum of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto at Larkana with protocol of at least 41 vehicles included in his convoy.
As many as 41 cars were part of his convey a day after saying ‘no’ to VIP movement on the roads. The authorities ripped apart the promise of newly-elected CM and blocked road for Shah’s convoy.
Hundreds of police officers were on duty around the entire district to perform their duties. The roads were completely blocked for traffic due to the chief minister’s convoy. Long queues of vehicles could be witnessed and motorists looked perturbed due to the security protocol.
