Looks like Arijit Singh is having a rough patch in his career lately; while Pakistani singers are making their mark in Bollywood.

After claiming that Salman Khan holds a grudge against him and losing Sultan’s song Jag Ghoomeya to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, this time, the singer has been replaced by Atif Aslam, Hindustan Times reported.

The Tum Hi Ho singer was initially roped in for a track in the upcoming film The Flying Jatt but later Atif rendered his voice.

According to Midday, Sachin-Jigar, who have scored the music for the film felt that his voice didn’t do justice to the song, so they approached Atif.

However, Sachin-Jigar declined the news saying, “This is a hoax. Arijit Singh hasn’t sung any song for A Flying Jatt.”

The confusion grows as sources close to Arijit confirmed the replacement. After two such incidents, Arijit seems to have accepted his fate.

“No one is irreplaceable, in any walk of life. Whether you are a singer or a doctor, there will always be others to take over your place,” he said.

He went on to say that singers are not given any respect these days. “If I replaced a singer I wouldn’t be expected to consult whichever singer I was replacing,” he said.

The superhero film A Flying Jatt stars Tiger Shroff in the lead role and is slated for release on August 25.
