PML-N gets three out of five women reserved seats in AJK LA

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has acquired three seats out of five reserved seats for women in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly.

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission announced unofficial results for the reserved seats on Friday.

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) got one seat each.

Sehrish Qamar, Faiza Imtiaz and Nasima Wani are the winning candidates of PML-N while Rifat Aziz was elected as the joint candidate of PML-N and Jamaat-e-Islami.

Shazia Akbar was elected from the platform of PPP.
