‘Oochi’, an explicit one of a kind character played by the heartthrob Fawad Khan, the Oye Hoye mascot is now strongly recognised for his exceptionally funky brand of style and comedy.
The role of Oochi is remarkably played by Fawad Khan, curly haired, tracksuit, aviator donning hero portraying an unbelievable persona that mingles with epic fails and tall tales.
Consistently trying to one up the rest of the world, Oochi usually finds his own self on the strange side of things.
This character full of naivety accompanied by his iconic afro appeared with Fawad Khan’s own input on set to tell the world that it is time to say no to tensions and maintain a stiff upper mentality no matter how many curveballs life points out and throws at you. The character goes hand in hand with the motto of the ‘Oye Hoye’ brand i.e. to personify a tension free and cool life where worries simply roll by.
One of Oochi’s many peculiarities is a face which depicts that his life might be Oye but in chips, he always, without giving a second thought, chooses Oye Hoye as his first preference. From ‘Oye Hoye’ (great) to “Oye” (not so great), Oochi creates his own amusing flavour to every situation even though he always finds himself at the wrong end of certain things.
-Fawad Khan in double role-
Once again, the heartthrob of our country Fawad Khan continues to challenge the school of thoughts of Pakistan. Oye Hoye’s campaign which is spread greatly across Pakistan and is caught on the screens quite conveniently representing Fawad in the double role for the first time ever which has dazzled the audience.
The hilarious mastery of the mind blowing actor is bearing vivid comparison with days of Jutt and Bond when an innocent Fawad injected smiles in the homes of Pakistani people. The scene is organised quite differently this time. Fawad Khan did absolute wonders by not just narrating humour on point but also his physical comedic look and body language brings complete value to the screen.
No doubt Oye hoye has done a great campaign also taking Fawad khan as the ambassador and a very new humorous style of ads has done so well for the brand. And to mention they taste great too and have more chips than air.
