The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Wednesday nominated Khurram Sher Zaman for the slot of Sindh chief minister after Qaim Ali Shah tendered his resignation to Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s senior leader and member of the National Assembly Dr Arif Alvi has stated in a message on social media website that the PTI deliberated and held sittings to finalise a name that could change the fate of Sindh and put it on a fast track of progress.

For that it decided to field Khurram Zaman as he was sincere for betterment of the province unlike candidates of other parties, he said. However, the PTI had only four seats in the provincial assembly and would not be able to give any challenge to Syed Murad Ali Shah.
