A married woman was allegedly killed by her in-laws in Mirpur Khas on Monday.
“My daughter was killed by her in-laws but they are trying to dub it a suicide case. There were marks of torture on her body. Police is providing protection to the accused,” said Rafia Memon, mother of the deceased woman, while addressing a press conference at Mirpur Khas press club.
She said that her daughter Laila Arzu Memon got married with Aneel Memon, and they had a one-year-old child. She alleged that Aneel along with his family members tortured and killed her daughter by forcing her to drink acid.
Rafia demanded of the higher authorities to arrest the accused and provide her justice.
