Qandeel’s murder case: Another suspect turns himself for police investigation

The second person accused in the Qandeel’s murder case, Haq Nawaz turned himself  in to police custody for investigation at the  Shah Sadruddin Police Station Monday (today).

According to the police, Qandeel’s brother Waseem confessed that he had plotted the murder with his relative Haq Nawaz.

Haq Nawaz was present in the house when Waseem killed Qandeel while, another relative, Basit waited in a car at a distance from the house. After committing the murder the three fled in his car.

After committing the murder the three fled from the scene.

Police have also arrested two of Qandeel’s sister-in-laws from Dera Ghazi Khan.

Waseem, in his confession before media, said that his sister’s controversial videos and scandals had become unbearable for him. He said that he drugged her and then strangled her to death.

The murder took place when Qandeel was sleeping at her house in Muzaffabad, her parents said in a statement recorded by the police. Her parents were sleeping on the rooftop.
