A private organisation Monday (today) holds referendum outside Banu press club.
The referendum called for a new leadership for the country.
The ballot papers proposed Army Cheif General Raheel Sharif and three other anonymous politicians name.
At least 200 people participated in the referendum.
According to the reports, a case has been registered against the authorities who conducted the referendum.
Recently, banners asking for an army coup appeared all over the country shortly after the Chairman US Senate’s Armed Services Committee, Senator John McCain, had said that he was deeply impressed by Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharif’s leadership skills.
