A woman was killed while seven others sustained burn injuries after a gas leakage explosion took place in a house located in Lyari on Monday.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Mithadar area of Lyari where a loud explosion happened as a result of the gas leakage. The injured were rushed to Civil Hospital for treatment.
The police reports claimed that the house was completely covered which became the reason of gas leakage explosion whereas the house was damaged partially.
Meanwhile, the police conducted a search operation in Soldier Bazaar area and arrested three suspects. Weapons, drugs and snatched materials were also recovered from their possession, police said.
