The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad Police arrested a notorious robber wanted by police in a dozen of cases on Saturday besides recovering millions of rupees in cash, laptop, and other valuables from his possession.
Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted an operation in the federal capital Islamabad during which it apprehended a wanted robber identified as Imtiaz Hussain besides recovering looted cash worth Rs 36, 50,000, laptop and other valuables from his possession.
The detainee stated to be hailing from Samanabad locality of Lahore used to barge into locked houses in the capital city and looted whatever he could find inside the houses.
The police confiscated the cash and other valuables recovered from his possession.
