Sarwar asks SC to take suo motto notice of loans waiving off

Former Punjab governor and Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) Punjab leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said waiving off of 280 billion rupees loans is ’governmental robbery’ on national exchequer.

Every day 10 billion rupees corruption is going on and national exchequer is being looted by rulers. Every 2 out of 3 families in Pakistan have limited access to food. In such a country, waiving off debt is injustice with the people, he said.

In a statement, Chaudhry Sarwar said Supreme Court must take suo motto notice of the situation and apprehend the culprits. “Pakistan is experiencing worst electricity crisis, unemployment, inflation and poverty.  In such situation, confession of waiving off of crores of rupees debt confession in senate is manifestation of the fact that government has looted the national exchequer.”

Ch Sarwar said the government is benefiting the rich people by taking taxes from people. It is responsibility of government to work for welfare of people and solve the severe problems of inflation, unemployment and poverty instead of supporting the favourite persons. Government is working on agenda which is against the welfare of people, but PTI will work against their agenda and reject the anti-poor agenda of people.
