The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) officials have confirmed shutting down the web television of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Earlier, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) and PTA had denied banning the web TV.
However, the PTA later confirmed that MQM’s web TV has been taken down.
The PEMRA had said that banning of web TV doesn’t come under its domain.
