The Sessions Court on Saturday sent Muhammad Ali alias Asad Kharal to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
Kharal, who is allegedly a close aide of the brother of Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal, was produced before a judicial magistrate in Sessions Court under tight security. During the hearing, the court sent the suspect to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
It should be noted that Kharal used to meet his friends and chat on his cell phone despite being forbidden by the court room laws. Asad Kharal was said to be arrested by the law enforcement agencies following a raid near Hyderabad.
Kharal, who is said to be a PPP worker, is accused of being involved in various criminal cases including aiding and abetting terrorism. He was earlier believed to have fled to Dubai after being freed from the custody of Rangers personnel who had arrested him in Larkana. The Rangers had conducted a rigorous manhunt for him until he was arrested again.
