Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has rejected the Azad Jammu and Kashmir election results and alleged “worst rigging” in the polls.

During a telephonic conversation with PPP’s Kashmir leader Chaudhry Latif Akbar on Friday, Bilawal said once again the PPP was robbed of its mandate. He said his party would not remain silent this time around over the “massive rigging”.

He said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conquering occupied Kashmir while Nawaz Sharif was doing the same in Muzaffarabad.

On Wednesday, Bilawal had warned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that if there was any bloodshed or rigging in the elections in Azad Kashmir then 2014’s protest would be nothing in front of theirs.

The PML-N swept the AJK Legislative Assembly election held on Thursday bagging 31 seats out of a total of 41.

The PPP and Muslim Conference secured three seats each, followed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with two seats to its credit. The PPP’s AJK chapter got one seat, while an independent candidate also emerged victorious in Thursday’s election.
