Asad Kharal sent on 14-day judicial remand

A local court Saturday (today) sent Asad Kharal, the alleged front-man of brother of Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal, on a 14-day judicial remand.

Kharal was presented in a session court in Sukkur.

Kharal is accused of corruption worth millions of rupees and interfering in Sindh government affairs.

Sindh Rangers had arrested Asad Kharral in a successful raid near Hyderabad city on an intelligence report.

He was later set free by his supporters who fought the Rangers, raising serious questions about the handling of law and order in the province.

It is worth mentioning that the paramilitary force had carried out several raids in many cities of Sindh province over the past many days in a bid to apprehend Kharal.
